MissChivers Pets is a professional and very personal dog and puppy training service located in and around Cambridgeshire

My name is Aimee Chivers and I started my journey caring and admiring animals at a very young age. I always needed to be around them and from this I had many cats growing up. I even trained a few of my cats using ‘operant conditioning’. Of course at the time I had know idea what I was doing but looking back, this was the start of my animal training interest. We also had a number of rabbits, guinea pigs and a variety of dogs (from a lovely Irish Wolf Hound named ‘Dog’ to an adorable Bichon Frise named ‘Larry the Lamb’!

From years of experience and then moving to the centre of Cambridge, I began my business from a push bike cycling around Cambridge, walking dogs in all weathers.  Years down the line and I have now successful built up my business. I’m very proud to be doing something I have so much passion for.

In 2020 I decided to focus on puppy training, an area I have always been specifically passionate about. Prevention is better than cure and over the course of the pandemic, I noticed purchases of puppies increase drastically in the UK, leading to amateur breeders misguiding new puppy owners, higher risks of behavioural issues and a potential overload for dog rescue centres.

This is where I hope to help my clients to understand their new dogs and puppies, preventing any behavioural issues in the future and creating a magical forever bond between you and your beloved pet.
